At work, if you get to know that your colleague is cheating on his spouse, you probably feel like interfering in their family matters. Infidelity is something which some people cannot tolerate. It gets a big difficult when its your coworker's spouse. So what's the best way to inform a coworker's spouse she is cheating.

If you take advice, many will tell you not to bother and just forget about it. Ay first you may feel this is the right thing to do. But you also have to think about it in a broader sense. Like the office environment may change once everybody gets to know.

Regardless, you should never say anything until you are absolutely sure that something untoward is going on between your coworker and someone else. Presumably, however, since you work with her, you may well know things that her husband does not. Only if you have unequivocal proof, however, should you say anything to her spouse.

It also depends how close you are to your coworker and how your friendship is. Before everything make sure you know what the complete truth it about the cheating spouse. You should get the full story and also have some evidence to prove your point.

One option would be talking to the coworker herself. If you explain to her what you know, you could encourage her to tell her partner herself. This way, it will prevent you from going behind her back to let her spouse know about the affair. Additionally, you can make her realize that you are probably not the only person who knows about the affair and encourage her to talk to her husband before someone else does.

If this does not work out, you may want to indirectly caution her husband without giving away much information. Do not forget respect, trust and friendship while talking to anybody about this. Do not embarrass your coworker or her spouse. Everything has to be done discreetly and in confidence. Remember you are only trying to help the couple and not cause more trouble.
